One of the questions I was asked about when I vend at a show was: "I see you have a sun pattern where is the moon?"
This pattern has is very special to me because I was able to design a pattern to coordinate with a pattern designed by Nancy Lee Chong. As most of you know Nancy is a friend of mine and she is the reason I learned needleturn and Hawaiian Quilting. It has been about 3 1/2 years since my husband and I became the owners of Pacific Rim Quilt Company and since then I have had some big shoes to fill stepping into such a well known and respected company. I finally feel like I am hitting my stride and able to bring some of me into the company. I have been able to do this with the day to day operation but even more important to me is the designing. Between quilting and designing this is the main reasons I wanted to become the owner. I guess Moon Dance is a symbol of combining the previous with the current Pacific Rim Quilt Company.
